    Description

    1969 Plymouth Satellite convertible, Roadrunner clone.
    69 Plymouth Satellite convertible with A/C, power steering, power top, bench seat and automatic trans. Replaced quarter panels, floor pans, trunk pan, and sub frame connectors welded in. A stock Roadrunner hood was added. ---- My original plan was to build a Roadrunner look alike daily driver that was substantially better than new in power, handling, durability, comfort,
    etc. --- Health issues bring the car up for sale!
    Painted PPG single stage “A4 silver”. Single stage because that was the way they were originally, plus single stage is easy to fix as far as chips dings go (daily driver).
    All new badges, decals and markings for a 69 Roadrunner, as well as new door handles and exterior mirrors (new in box, not yet installed).
    New grill assembly,- bumpers,- black dash pad,- black seat covers,- carpet kit and door panels,- kick panels,- door arm rests,- seat belts,- weather stripping,- black convertible top & well cover,- and convertible top latches.
    Pro restored rear (convertible only) interior side panels.
    8 ¾” rear end w/3.23 posi. Axles have new Green (brand) bearings installed (original stock bearing adjuster included if someone wants to go back to stock bearings),Leaf springs are stock Mopar replacement units, Rear brakes are stock 2 ½”X11”drums. A ¼” drain plug was added to facilitate future fluid changes.
    12” Cordoba disk brakes in front with new calipers, metallic pads, brake hoses, and “Moog” bushings and hardware including ball joints, steering idler arm, and strut rod bushings. Most brake hard lines are new stainless steel and Master cylinder(manual) and proportioning valve are rebuilt units. – Torsion bars are new Mopar .96 (oversize) units w/new seals. Stock OEM front sway bar. ---Combination of “problem solver” offset bushings and strut rod modifications to maintain 3+ degrees of positive caster for exceptional directional stability. Plus all rubber for a soft, smooth ride with NO poly harshness or squeeks. ---Wheels are 8”X15” black steel, no clearance issues.
    Engine is a1970 440 block bored .030 over,- Speed pro flat top hypereutectic pistons with Teflon coated skirts and 1/16

    Childs & Albert rings giving approximately 9.5:1 compression.
    Forged crank turned .010 on rods & mains, aftermarket forged “Hemi” I beam rodx with 1/2” ARP bolts. Clevite 77 bearings, fully balanced. Heads are hardened valve seat 452’s that have been mildly ported by Dick Landy. Edelbrock CH4Baluminum intake, 1 ¾” long tube headers (used but good), 3” TTI collector back exhaust system& Flowmaster super 40’s mufflers (all new).
    Cam is a relatively mild hydraulic flat tappet speced by Scott Brown of Straitline Performance specifically for the engine combo and intended street/highway car use with .489 .483 lift and .268 .285duration. Isky adjustable iron rockers & new MP hardened rocker shafts. Double roller timing chain/gear set. Mopar performance electronic ignition/distributor w/8mm MSD plug wires, New Melling high volume oil pump& Mopar mini starter, Aluminum drop base air filter housing to maintain hood clearance (genuine NASCAR unit). --- Also included is an A/C compressor mount for a Sanden style compressor plus a new high volume R134a compressor, and Heater core for A/C. Engine is trial assembled for clearance checks but will need final assembly.
    Radiator is an American made “Be Cool” cross flow that is the largest unit that can possibly fit. It is designed/rated for 1,000 HP super/turbocharged – nitrous use and cost ,200! Overkill? Yes, but should eliminate any chance of over heating even if cruising through Death Valley in the middle of summer with the A/C on and towing a trailer!
    Transmission is a 727 torqueflite from a wrecked Dodge Magnum. Was obviously working at the time, but I can’t guarantee it’s serviceability. I was going to rebuild it before use so that it was as fresh as all other components and included is a “new in box” shift kit. I have no reason to believe the trans is not usable as is, but that decision will be up to the new owner. Included is a higher stall converter (similar to a Hemi unit) used but works well, as well as the stock unit that is still in the trans.
    The front interior of the body was coated in a ceramic heat barrier and two layers of aluminum faced insulation in order to keep the engine heat out of the cab.
    Steering column was completely disassembled, cleaned, lubed, painted, bearingsre-packed, new steering coupler, new turn signal cancellation mechanism, etc;and is ready for installation.
    A restored wood grain steering wheel with Roadrunner horn button is included plus an original Roadrunner “meep meep” horn.
    Instrument cluster was redone. A new “postage stamp” Roadrunner tach was installed as well as the stock ammeter converted over to a voltmeter while maintain 100% stock cluster appearance. Needles were repainted as well as anything else that was required. All tested and ready to install. All other dash trim redone and ready to install. An extra used cluster included.
    Brake and emergency brake Pedal assemblies disassembled cleaned lubed, clearance slop eliminated, painted and ready to install.
    Wiper motor rebuilt, wiper arm pivots and other mechanisms cleaned, re-lubed, and ready to install.
    Also included is a new Pioneer radio w/usb
    & HD FM band, etc. that I intended to install hidden, and two JL audio 5.25” two way speakers.
    Stock AM radio included and ready to install.– Two buckets of USA made “second skin” (brand) acoustic undercoating, and one box of their aluminum backed stick on butyl insulation, as well as one box that is already installed.
    Not included(needed) is a windshield,- driveshaft,- wiring harness (stock harness included and was functional, but is in poor condition),- A/C condenser (I planned on using a dual air minivan unit),- belts, hoses, and fluids. Also, the lower front valance will need painted as well as the underside of the hood. ---Factory 69 Plymouth service manual is included as well as a factory parts diagrams on a CD.
